September 2018: still waiting for report cards for the school year 2017-2018. Report cards have been requested.

Lora's mother has died and her father lives in Nkhotokota, a town 200 km. to the south. She has no contact with her father. She lives with an uncle, a brother of her mother. This uncle has very little land and tries to make a living by doing day labour on other peoples land and by joining fishing crews. The walk from home to school takes 1½ hour - and 1½ to return. Often she goes to school without breakfast.
Her school results are not good, but she is a nice girl.
