Priscar's father has died and Priscar lives with her mother. Her mother has problems with her back and legs and therefore she can only walk little and she does not work in the field. Beside Priscar and her mother the household consists Priscars elder brother, his wife and 2 children (6 and 8 years old). There is a light in the house, but they have to walk far to fetch water.
It takes Priscar 1½ hour of walking to get from her home to school.
She does not perform well at school, but she shows good conduct.
